After our first visit at Jamie's in London to celebrate my exams we decided to come back and try the newly opened Manchester restaurant.
The venue, an old bank complex in Manchester's posh King St.is absolutely stunning and offer seating on two different levels. Whilst waiting for a table we shared one of the starters that are also available at the bar.
Being seated after 20 min we ordered another two starters ( Pear and Walnut Gorgonzola Salad | Chickpea Flatbread with Roasted Peppers ), two sides ( Chips with Truffles and Parmesan) and two small mains ( Wild Rabbit Tagliolini | Meatball Carbonara).
Again the quality of the food was superb and fresh. Although the menu is the same as the London one you could see that the ingredients were differently sourced which is a definite plus! Exactly the same smell and taste would be a sign of cheap processed fast food which is not the case in the Jamie Oliver signature restaurant chain!
Even traditional dishes like Carbonara or pasta in general convey the unique seasoning technique of Jamie to make them standing out from any other Italian restaurant.
